The Elizabeth McLaughlin Smith scrapbook dates from 1927 to 1931 and is un-annotated. It has a large black cover with white polka dots and green binding. Its title, Scrapbook, is featured in numerous contrasting colors. It contains event programs including the 1931 Commencement Baccalaureate Sermon, the 1931 Commencement Exercise, Class Day, and the 1929 Grand Opera. The scrapbook also contains news clippings, correspondence, invitations, notes, greeting cards, dried flowers, ribbons, receipts, party memorabilia, college documents, and other materials such as a paper doily, a feather, and embroidery: "1931" in white yarn on red fabric. Also included are Student Handbooks for the 1928 - 1929 and 1930 - 1931 academic years.
